Fortnite unveils Ferrari 296 GTB as a new driveable car, and you know that such a branded crossover will come with some new challenges that will allow players to get behind the wheel. As you might have guessed, Ferraris have become a popular commodity during battle royale matches, making it difficult to complete these tasks, let alone get your hands on a car.
So we did some research and found places to find a Ferrari with some relative stability. Just keep in mind that you won’t be the only one hunting for this.
We also recommend grabbing a pair of off-road tires if you plan on driving your Ferrari around the map to get to other missions.
Also make sure you keep an eye on the pressure gauge. Using boost will cause your Ferrari to drain fuel quickly, and anything less than a full tank will likely run out faster than you think.
Here’s where to find Ferrari cars in Fortnite.
Ferrari location in Fortnite
You will find Ferrari cars in Fortnite at both Believer Beach and Lazy Lakes. At Beliver Beach, I found a Ferrari parked in a parking lot outside a hotel building on the east side of town. There is also an I / O chest nearby, so this is a good start to the match. Another Ferrari may appear at a gas station in the western part of the city.
In Lazy Lakes, Ferrari may appear at a gas station or in a car dealership.
Fortnite Ferrari Time Trial Tips
One of Ferrari’s main missions is to complete the time trial in one of several locations on the map. If you check your challenge map / menu, you will see that the locations of each time trial are fairly clearly marked. Once you reach your destination, look for the white light symbol hovering over the road. Driving through it, time trials will begin.
To complete time trials, you will need to complete each checkpoint and reach the last checkpoint before the timer expires, as indicated by the narrowing circle above each checkpoint.
I would not recommend using Ferrari’s accelerating ability. While it gives you a big burst of speed, it burns gas incredibly quickly. If you don’t start a time trial with a full tank, you will probably end before reaching the end.
Also try to stick to paved roads whenever possible. There will likely be a few shortcuts you can use while slicing through grass and dirt, but the Ferrari handles much the same as Fortnite’s previous versatile sports car: smooth on tarmac roads and rubbish on everything else. With low ground clearance, you can also get caught on a rock or something and fly away, ruining a race against the clock.
