The developers of the popular online battle royale game Fortnite Epic Games, released in 2017, continue to delight gamers with interesting features and tasks that appear in each new chapter of the Battle Royale. So, in the epic trials of the 1st week of the 16th season, to gain experience “Epics” suggest: find gold artifacts near the Tower in Fortnite and increase the level of your Battle Pass.

Description of the test

A new test of the Battle Royale is to search for rare figures hidden near the main high-rise building located in the central location of the island. To start going through it, you need to land next to the indicated place and start completing the quest.

The main difficulty of the passage lies in finding figures – they are scattered in different mini-locks located next to the Tower.

What artifacts you need to look for

To complete the Epic Challenge of Week 1 of Season 16, you need to find the locations where the 3 artifacts are located. Each of them will bring you the required number of points. After collecting all the figurines, you will complete the quest and will be able to participate in the next Battle Royale adventures.

Lama’s golden head

One of the rarities hidden in a room near the Tower is the golden head of the Lama. She is the symbol of the popular online battle royale game Fortnite. There are 2 game modes: PvE and PvP. It is believed that meeting her on the battlegrounds of the Battle Royale brings players luck and especially valuable loot.

Lama’s second golden head

The third statuette, after finding which you will complete the passage of the test, will be another head of a rare Lama.

Meowscles

The next figurine you have to find is Mr. Meowcle. This brutal long-tailed cat, pumped with muscles, appeared in the 2nd chapter of the 12th season in Fortnight and immediately found a large number of fans among gamers. He is known for his scandalous antics and work as an undercover agent in the role of both the Shadow and the Ghost. There is also a golden version of the skin.

Tips and tricks for passing the test

To effectively complete the quest, do the following:

1. Determine the drop-off point immediately on the map of the island.
2. It is recommended to land on the house located to the right of the central Tower.
3. When starting your search, be guided by the characteristic signals emanating from the chests with loot. Some figurines can be found next to them.
4. Carefully examine the corners and darkened places in the premises in search of the necessary figures – the desired objects are highlighted in blue.
5. There will be many gamers like you in the central location. Get ready to face rivals. Do not let them be the first to steal the necessary items, ahead of you.

Location of gold artifacts

The necessary figures are located at different points located near the main building of the central location – the Towers:

1. Artifact # 1. The head of the golden Lama. It is located in the market area in a covered area that serves as a corn storage facility. Go into it and look for a small plank counter. Under it will be a tripod vat, and next to it – the desired object, highlighted in blue. Activate the “interaction” button and take the item.
2. Artifact # 2. Mister Meowcle. It can be found in the room next to the storage. To do this, move to the stairs located south of the corn storage. Climb up it and turn right. Enter the open doorway in the heading direction. Go into the room, on the wall of which there will be a torch. Among the jugs and barrels you will find a figurine of Mr. Meowscles. It will also be highlighted in blue.
3. Artifact # 3. The 2nd head of the golden Lama is in the planked Ravine. There is a large external spiral staircase next to it. Get to him and take the figurine by activating the “interaction” button. There is also a chest with loot.

Once you’ve collected the items you need, the Season 16 Week 1 Challenge will be complete. And the bonus for completing the task will be 24,000 exp, which will increase the level of your Battle Pass and open access to new skins in Battle Royale Fortnite.
