Despite the conflict between Fortnite developer Epic Games and Apple, iPhone owners will soon be able to enjoy their favorite game again. This is made possible thanks to the Geforce Now service developed by Nvidia. According to the authors of the service, its work will be possible in the Safari browser for iOS.
Nvidia announced its new development back in the summer of this year. The service is primarily designed for Chromebooks. However, other platforms were not deprived of attention. A similar service already exists – this is Google Stadia, but it is not able to play games on the iPhone and iPad. As for Geforce Now, it will support any WebRTC compatible browsers.
Regarding the timing, the developers said support for Safari will be added before the Christmas holidays. At the moment, the service is already successfully operating on platforms running Windows, Android, Chrome OS and Mac.
At the moment, it is difficult to assess whether Fortnite will work through the new service. However, if Geforce Now successfully launches, this will undoubtedly be a new way to piss Apple off for Epic Games.
