Fortnite Season 6 Chapter 2 Has Finally Come Bringing All the Power with It notes to patch version 16.0… If it makes you feel old, then you are not the only one. Fortnite has been playing a battle royale role for your little siblings and nephews for years now, and shows no signs of slowing down compared to the latest version.
In this guide, we’ll take a look at the new features coming to Fortnite Battle Royale, in addition to the minor and major bug fixes and changes you can expect when dropping off the Battle Bus this season.
There is still a lot we don’t know about Season 6, including how the overall Fortnite storyline will evolve – we know for sure there will be some sort of nonsense related to the conflict of alternate realities and dimensions, as we pointed out in this guide, and the rest can only be guessed at. For everything you need to know about the latest season, just take a look at our guide below.
Single Mission Zero Crisis
Once you return to Fortnite Battle Royale, you’ll be presented with a solo mission, Zero Crisis, in which you’ll battle across the map and open portals to other realities. Yes, it can be quite hectic, which is why we have written a guide to help you overcome the chaos.
That’s basically everything you’ll see from Fortnite’s overarching history in this early part of Season 6, but it’s really very interesting to see.
Big Map Changes
The sixth season is named Primal for a reason, because the map roams, starting with the Spire in the center of the map. In addition to this, there are a number of unique changes, including:
- Zero point is now Spire
- Colossal crops can be found in the northern part of the island.
- Salt Springs are now Primeval Pool
There are also some brand new Guardians. What is it? I have no idea and Epic hasn’t given us many opportunities to work with, but we can assume they will become even more important as the history of Fortnite unfolds.
New Feature: Weapon Crafting
Weapon crafting is a completely new feature being added to Battle Royale, and hopefully this means you can find the weapon that suits you more easily. Like everything else in the season, you can craft “Primal” weapons, including the Primal Rifle and Primal Revolver, which are basically regular shotguns, but they have ropes wrapped around them and spikes sticking out for whatever reason.
You will be able to craft your own weapons anywhere on the map, and we will have a guide that will tell you how to do it very soon.
Animal Domestication
You can hunt or tame animals that you can find on the map, and they can also collect materials for you to craft. This is … Weird, but never mind. We also know that new animals are coming soon that may be associated with these Guardian Spiers, but time will tell.
16.00 Bug Fixes
There is also, of course, a small list of bug fixes, and hopefully you won’t run into a lot of new and fresh bugs while enjoying this new update.
